The Joy of Selfishness

(scroll down for details)

By overcoming our conditioned beliefs about selfishness, we create the possibility of more happiness, self-respect, and joy. We believe, consciously or unconsciously, that if we are happy, we are taking something away from another. This mass misconception causes us to suppress our “selfish” desires. Not everything that makes us happy is automatically selfish. Lecture #64 says, “Quite the contrary, as a happy person, you are better able to bring happiness and joy to others.”

When: Sat., July 12 and Sun., July 13; 10 a.m.–5 p.m. each day

Cost: You are invited to contribute what feels right, true, and aligned from within. Give what reflects your joy, your commitment, or even your uncertainty. Give as an exploration of your own relationship with abundance, with fear, with enoughness. And if you’re not sure what to give, that too can be part of your inquiry. All is welcome here.
