A Conversation on Racism

A Conversation on Racism

After years of studying current literature, Pittsburgh Pathworkers Against Racism, a group of White people concerned about racism, have come to realize that to expect People of Color to educate White people is unfair and a burden. Our teacher taught us that it is our responsibility as White people to educate ourselves to understand our racism.

Please join us as we create a safe, nonjudgmental space for White people to learn and unlearn about racism and begin to develop the skills and capacity for action to confront it.

To facilitate the discussion, each of our group members will briefly share how they have been moved and impacted by their study, followed by a guided discussion. The intention is to help us begin to discover our own conscious and unconscious racism – a necessary precursor to transforming racism on the planet.

In alignment with our Pathwork, our hope and goal is to create Unity, serve Justice and enable Equality for all.
