Assignment for the next First Wednesday Lecture

We have a new location,

FRIENDS’ MEETING HOUSE
4836 Ellsworth Aveue
Pittsburgh 15213.

The lectures start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.

Please come early and mingle and enjoy treats and coffee donated by Tazza D’ora in Highland Park and at CMU.

This year we will be studying relationships – our longing for connection, our fear of connection, how we can learn about ourselves and grow through being in our relationships.

In January the lecture will be on the 2nd Wednesday, January 8th.

We will be studying lecture #185 which can be found at Pathwork.org here.  You are invited to read the lecture prior to our meeting and to the best of your ability write in your Pathwork journal what you consider to be the faults, weaknesses, and negativities that you bring to your relationships with others – especially those close to you.  In this lecture the Guide teaches that we cannot achieve the love and connection that we long for until we face all the ways that we block it.  He/she actually refers to these blocks as “evil.”

Looking forward to seeing you on the 8th.  Please feel free to invite friends and family who you think may resonate with this work.  While preparation may heighten your consciousness and the level of consciousness in the room, it is not a requirement to read the lecture, do the homework or to have previously attended a lecture to receive value from attending.  Each lecture stands on its own.
